The thing about collections is that even if you've lost interest in them, you can't throw them out.

My boyfriend has filled our basement with boxes and boxes of comic books. One time he came home to find that I had built the dozens of boxes into a fort for the cats to play on. It's an impressive size, and now they get use instead of sitting in the basement untouched for the next fifty years. :)
