Last spring, i got to tour Turkey with a history professor from my college. The smallest plane we flew on was (if memory serves correctly) a 727, and that landing was quite reminiscent of roller coasters i've ridden in a Six Flags theme park. It was a serious holding-my-breath-because-this-feels-like-we're-gonna-run-out-of-runway moment.

The scary thing is, i enjoyed it a whole lot. I was disappointed at how smoothly those 737s and 767s landed.
