What, no seafood? Whenever we've been on
vacation at any beach, one of my favorite
things to do has always been to sample the
local seafood restaurants. I'm not talking
about the seafood chains like Red Lobster or
even Landry's. I'm talking about the places that
there's only *one* of. Places like
SamandLeen's favorite, Newicks.

If you're ever visiting Cape Cod, Mass, I
recommend Squire, in Chatham. I think the
most memorable place for me is a restaurant
called The Compass, in Sumter, SC. We used
to go there frequently when we lived in SC.
The decor was what made it so memorable;
nets all over the walls, stuffed sharks and fish
and what-have-you. You go to places like that
as much for the experience as you do for the
great food.
