More:

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Batman: Sub-Zero -- Much better than the live-action Batman films. Almost 100% nipple-free. Batman: Sub-Zero was delayed when it went straight to video because it had a much better Mister Freeze storyline than that summer's "Batman and Robin" movie. Plus, any movie that can make Dick Greyson look cool has got to be good.

Lone Star -- One of the true Texas films. A corpse is discovered in the desert outside a small Texas town.

True Stories -- Another Texas film. Talking Heads front-man David Byrne is The Narrator who takes the viewer on a tour of Virgil, around their celebration of Specialness.

High Road to China -- Sam is the only other person I know who has seen this film. Tom Selleck's silver screen debut about a world-wide search for a missing father in the 1920's has the same high adventure feeling as the Indiana Jones series does.

Atame! (known as "Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!" in the US) -- A Spanish film about a man who kidnaps a former porn star because he loves her. The feel-good foreign stalker film of the decade. To say it's not for everyone is an understatement.

Man Facing Southwest -- Another foreign film about a man who is institutionalized, claiming to be an extraterrestrial visitor.

Immortal Beloved -- A bio-pic of Beethoven.

Much Ado About Nothing (93) -- A stellar cast performs one of Shakespeare's lighter plays. Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington, Brian Blessed, Keanu Reeves, and Michael Keaton.

Sneakers -- I could tell you what this movie is about, but I'd have to kill you. Rent it? BUY IT! NOW!

Last Action Hero -- A well-done spoof of big-budget action movies.

Manhunter -- Arguably better than "Silence of the Lambs". Michael "Miami Vice" Mann's movie adaptation of Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon". The book "Silence of the Lambs" is a sequel to "Red Dragon".
