Good list. I'm glad so many people are responding to this-- I'm writing down a list of movies to rent.

There is a decent video store down the street which has a wide collection of movies I've never heard of. They organize them by director, which is a great idea because if I like one movie by a director, I can look into his or her other more obscure work. And the workers there are true movie buffs who can answer almost any question.

"Pi" was indeed a good movie. My little brother told me I should see it. Mike is still looking for the soundtrack, which he really liked..

"This Is Spinal Tap" is a sort of cult film, I think. Like you said, it's underrated in some parts of the world, but I know a few people who love it. "The Young Ones" did the same idea a few years earlier--- but I can't find that, either.
