> What do you think are the most underrated movies ever? I mean movies which you thought were brilliant and moving, yet the media was indifferent and video stores often don't carry the video. The kind of movie you tell your friends, "You have to see this movie!" and they say "Never heard of it."

Definitely "Pleasantville." It didn't make much of a sensation at the box office or when it became available for rent or purchase, but I thought it was a brilliant movie. I went into the theater with low expectations, but then sat in awestruck amazement through the second half of the movie. The symbolism was refreshingly deep compared to most movies, and the statements made about stereotyping and racism were brilliant. Some people will be put off by the questionable morals in the film, but the movie goes so much deeper.
