Oops.

During my self-imposed sabbatical (cross-reference "That's Your Problem."), I decided to give myself a surname so that my webname would gain a personality all of its own.

I decided on "Rinotir" after thinking about a Rinkchat conversation I had where everybody insisted on calling me Chirco - which I hate to bits. Rinotir can be split up into three - Ri-not-ir. That's a reminder to everybody that my name contains an RI, not an IR. Anyway, "Rinotir" sounds cool.

It seems, however, that everybody else has been having similar ideas. This is spooky, as this sort of thing has happened before (Fun With Words). I don't know what it is, but I suspect that it's a telepathic link between me and the main server of Rinkchat. Who knows, maybe I could harness this power and save the world from all evil?
