I can just hear Willie Nelson singing "On the Road Again." I know he sings through his nose, but it's a very melodious nose. That song goes through my mind everytime I start out on a road trip. Road trips are not the same as plane trips, because I'm in control. Nobody can turn on a little light that means, "You can't unfasten your seat belt and go to the restroom unless *I* say so." Nobody can tell me to put my seat back in it's full upright position, or to turn off all electronic devices. Like Willie, I can't wait to get on the road again. This time it's Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Hitting the road Sunday! We haven't been there since circa 1980, and I hope it's still the Jewel of the Atlantic that it was when we camped there on vacations. The road is I-40 over the mountains to Ashville, NC, then down toward Columbia and on to the Grand Strand. My knee is pretty well healed up so I can stroll along in the edge of the surf and hunt shark's teeth. Grandson Chris will already be there, along with his mom and dad. Chris and I are taking our metal detectors so we can scratch up a few pieces-of-eight along with the shark,s teeth. So sing, Willie, sing! I'm on the road again! I'll be back in a week. Howard
