I don't keep up with the school calendar since I retired, but I believe this is the time of the Annual Summer Layoff. Some uninformed people used to call it summer "vacation." Anyway is you are temperarily unemployed because of the ASL, you should have ample time to explorer the chat at
various hours of the day and night. But if you are currently involved with workshops, conferences, refreshers, conventions, classes for advanced degrees, summer school, or any other such professional plagues, you might be better off just posting on this forum. I get on the chat every once in a blue moon, and it moves so fast, I'm a nervous wreck. After 33 years in the classroom, I don't need anything to jangle my nerves.
