My experiences with discovering Rinkworks were rather different. By the way, I've done Cardless Magic Cards as well - it's particularly fun when you make up the really weird ones, like "Make yuor opponent try to run up walls, like in Singing in the Rain. Never tried that, by the way.

Where was I? Oh yes. The first time I saw Rinkworks was in a very excellent British magazine called Focus. It quite often had a little box of cool links to try out, and one of them was to Movie-A-Minute. So, of course, I had to try it out. Needless to say, I was stunned by the sheer comedy value of the site, and it was not long before I found the rest of the site. I told my sister about it, and she explored rather more than me; eventually she found the RinkForum, and told me how cool it was. At that time, we still didn't have internet access at home (curse the evil fiends who slowed down the idea of flat-fee access), so I started by posting at school. That was one of the reasons why I loved Rinkworks, because the school connection was so slow I had to pretty much only use text-based sites. My first posts got pretty angry reactions and I was not very happy, but now I'm all happy and nice and jolly. Isn't Rinkworks a lovely place to be when you have nothing else to do?
