That's a cool story, and reminds me of something a woman in my church did last year. She's in her 60s, and she with a bunch of other women (mostly older women, like herself) biked from San Diego to Florida in order to raise money for (I think) breast cancer research. It took about two and a half months, but they made it.

I can't even IMAGINE biking for that long or that far, even at my age (19, a month away from being 20). But she pushed through, and she made it. It amazes me again every time I talk to her, because she's such a small, cheerful, unassuming woman. :) She wrote a little book about the experience, too, that's very interesting. My hat (if I wore one) goes off to her.
