It sounds like somebody just took an existing name (Megan) and changed one letter to make it cooler. Is this a name anybody really has, apart from the Doctor Who girl? I don't think I could get used to it. It sounds too much like an abbreviation of the brand name Tegal Chicken.
Incidentally, why "Destinee" instead of "Destiny"? Or "Rhayne" instead of "Rain"? Not that I'm saying these aren't good names. I went to school with a boy whose first name was Rainbow, so anything is possible. I just always wonder why spelling a random word oddly turns it into a name.
