> When I lived in Germany, there was an American family a couple houses down from us who were all D's, too. In their case, both parents were D's, and they named their two kids Dustin and Delisa.
I had a best friend for several years whose name was Dustie. Her sister's name was Dawn, and their parents were named Dave and Debbie. Except for Debbie, they all had DRB for their initials. Yes, Dave and Debbie actually planned it that way from the beginning.
The only real confusion I ever saw was when it came time to wash laundry and sort out socks. Dave's were different, as he was the only male, but Debbie, Dawn and Dustie had similar socks. One of them wrote "DB" on the bottoms of her socks, another wrote "DRB," and they still sometimes got confused. It didn't help that they all had identical handwriting, too.
Then Dawn married Davin, whose initials were DAM. They proceeded to have two girls, and named them Devonne and Darcie--and gave them the initials of DAM. This was also planned.
And then Dustie married Gerald, they had a baby named Anna, Davin and Dawn got divorced and the saga ended.
