It was raining so hard for about two hours that all the little streets going through the park were flooding, and there was a constant stream of water going from the higher elevated streets to the lower ones. It was great. There were a bunch of people packing themselves into the arcades and under things, and we just ran around sliding through the streams of water, and jumping in the puddles and stuff. That was more fun than the park itself.

You must've been there the same day *I* was!

I was there with my friend Jen. We had a blast; we got lost, wandered in and out of all the different parts of the park frantically searching for our parents (okay, not *that* frantically, but it gave us an excuse to wander in and out of all the different parts of the park), watching as we started to more and more closely resemble those formaldehyde-drenched rats they make you dissect in biology...

Of course, the day ended on a bad note when I accidentally sat on one of her catalogues in the car and the water blurred out the ink on the order form. She and I didn't talk much after that. :(
