All right, here's how you can get injured playing darts:
1). You have failed to warm your throwing shoulder up properly before you begin
2). Due to awful technique/lack of warm-up/both, you tear, rip, pull, or do something else unsavoury to your arm or shoulder muscles.
3). All the players who play in big tournaments always complain of stiffness in the shoulder afterwards
If you would like proof of this, see the terrible shoulder injury sustained by a footballer playing professionally for Bury, who ripped a tendon or something playing darts in the pub after a game and was out for a considerable period of time. Not the bizarrest injury of them all, but...
