I am also somebody who has so much respect for the miracle that is life that I refuse to believe the government should have the power to decide who should die. That's why I disagree with that particular argument; I believe any life is better than no life. Murderers are truly in a deep, dark place and what better opportunity for them to redeem themselves than sitting around in a prison cell for thirty years with nothing to do but contemplate their lives?
