Characters start at Point A, right before the problem comes up, and they're happy. Then they're at Point B, problem comes. Point C: They solve the problem, learning things about the universe and each other (and maybe themselves). Then back to Point A again, when they're happy and contented and they say a stupid joke and laugh fakely (is fakely even a word? No matter).

Writing like an 8 year old will be easy, because I've been there. But I can't write about being 45, married, and with four kids, because I'm only 15 and I've never had a romantic relationship.

You're luckier than I am, Quartz. See, I have all these great story ideas, but I always run out of steam about 1/3 of the way through, even when I've fully planned them out!

This is even more damaging for the comics I try to make, since I can't draw very well or consistently on top of that.

If I ever finds a genie, I'm gonna wish for the ability to draw anything exactly how I want it, the ability to keep myself focused on a story for long periods of time, and to lose the nagging suspicion that my writing stinks.
