I debated for a while about whether or not to post on this thread, considering that the relationship I'm basing my comments on is rather complicated.... but heck, why not?

I am currently in a not-technically-dating relationship which is, although we're "just friends", healthier than the dating relationships of most, if not all, the high schoolers I've ever had contact with.

He doesn't say "I love you" or bring me flowers (okay, he has, twice. but not usually) or give me random compliments, but he does other little things that show that he cares... the fact that he plays with my hair because he knows I like it, and lets me play with his even though he thinks it feels weird; that he's *still* telling people, a week and a half later, how amazing my prom dress was; the random hugs; the way he lost all ability to concentrate and kept saying "don't hurt yourself" after he saw the gashes put on my arm by my own fingernails.

Smoeone just saying "I love you" or "You're beautiful" on a regular basis is nice, but I'd rather be loved by someone who knows the little things that will make me and *only* me feel loved.

Ki"oh, but I can't get enough of this everyday love"ki
