I would pick number one, hands down. I feel that compliments and other things of that nature get diluted the more ofter you use them. Plus all that lovey dovey stuff isn't really my style. If I eve become a professor like I think I might want to, That's what I'm going to be like then too. I'm going to tell the kids that they're doing bad if they're doing bad, and I'm not going to say anything if they're doing alright. I'm going to save my compliments for when they really deserve them, and make them actually mean something. Not like those stupid "Great Job!" stickers some teachers hand out on everything. Those things irritate me.
