When I was in kindergarten, I was taught a script halfway between cursive and print that was supposed to prepare you for cursive. I changed schools before first grade, and the students in my first grade class were expected to write in print. I had a bad teach who didn't teach me how, so for several years (this somehow carried over into cursive, as well) I muddled my way along, pretending I knew how to write. When I got to junior high school, I moved back to (very sloppy) print.

In the past few years, I've experimented a great deal with handwriting. I'm the only person I know who has consciously been able to change their normal handwriting - and I can still use most of them. I have a few interesting cursive ones that I used for a while, and a fun blocky graffiti-type one. This year, however, I've neatened up my handwriting a great deal. It is actually *quite* readable now - of course, while writing quickly it gets messy, but usually it's rather nice and readable, and my loops are pretty =)
