That's what I found so appealing about it. No hype, no extravagance, just trivia. I watched it almost everyday when I was in London. To me, game shows are about testing your knowledge, and maybe learning something. Of course trivia is by definition trivial, but it's still interesting. All the theatrics are simply irritating to me.
