For some reason, about 3 paragraphs of my origional message (which are supposed to be in the middle of the above paragraph) disappeared when I posted. Must be Microsoft's fault.
Actually, no. I've just learned something about posting on this message board. The sentence that I was trying to say, when I got cut off at "Since -9...", is: "Since -9 is less than -5, my quote was obviously shorter". However, I didn't write it that way: to save time, I simply used the less than sign on my keyboard. What the scripting for this page did is to delete everything between that less-than sign and the greater-than sign that signified that the text "If we're going by those rules..." came from Stephen's post.
So, two lessons: 1. Never use the less-than sign. 2. Always look at the preview before posting.
Oh, and- 3. Don't press tab to indent (like I just did) 4. Don't use spaces to indent either. It doesn't work. I don't think indenting is possible at all. 5. Don't assume that a list is only going to have two items in it just because that's all you thought up so far.
The rest of what I was trying to say in the previous post was rather silly and probably doesn't bear repeating.
