Although Marvin has been trying to answer this, he did not see the events as they transpired. I did, and I feel I should try to say something, even though I am sure I will not get it right.

> Why, after a four-day hiatus from Chat, do I poke my head into Chat, find people talking about sexual terms in front of 13-year-olds, and then get blasted for kicking them?

The sexual terms thing came about as a bit of a joke, which maybe went too far. I agree that a kick was appropriate; a kick is a good way to show someone (who may or may not realize that they are crossing a line) that they ARE crossing a line. I was guilty of questioning the kick myself; for that, I apologize. The one who did the blasting, though, was Liface. Liface is, well, Liface. See other replies to this post for more on that.

> Why am I blasted for kicking someone (kicking, mind you, not banning) when the very topic of the room states that there is a zero tolerance policy?

Marvin was right--the topic of the room did refer to something different. Still, topic or no topic, the kick was appropriate.

I wish that there was something more that I could say to this. There isn't, though.
