That brings up a memory of a movie I saw back around 1980... I think it was from one of the later Pink Panther movies, but can't recall which (one of the ones without Peter Sellers).

Something about a villain who captured two heroes and placed one (the female) in a maze with three mooks hunting her down. The villain and the male hero could see their positions on the big screen in the Villain's Lair; they had walkie-talkies and could talk their teammates through the maze. At one point, the guy tells the woman how to walk around the maze once she takes off her transmitter thing, which would fool the villain into thinking that the woman was standing still.
