You actually *like* the current rail system in Britain? Boy, it must be bad back home.
Our national rail network (as opposed to metropolitan networks such as the London Underground) is possibly the worst in Europe at the moment. The privatisiation schemes gave the operators a free hand to do anything that would earn them money.
It's a shame, as only 10 years ago British Rail (as it was then) was being favourably compaired to the Swiss network, arguably the best in Europe.

"Plaid" should be spelt "Tartan". There is no excuse for such an error if you are dealing with clan colours.
