Hmm, I have a new anecdote too that I wanted to share - guess I'll stick it in here, eh? :)

My family and I are going to Europe this summer (and missing the RinkUnion! darn!), and one of the places we're staying is in a little bungalow in Holland. We recently got the inventory sheet for the place, and it's... interesting. Here are some of the items listed:

Flame tamer (We're thinking this is actually a gas stove starter.)
Hotch potch stamper (No idea.)
Potty (Do they have trouble with people stealing the commodes?)
Shower/wastebin (Probably means a wastebin IN the bathroom where the shower is, we hope.)
