The 'offer void in Utah' is a reference to Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie, in which it is said in a string of disclaimers at the end. I used to have the entire disclaimer phrase there, but it got too long, so I shortened it to just that bit. (Which also, incidentally, happens to be an inside joke between myself and my friends IRL.)
