I'm afraid to scream Enough! because when it stops it will likely not rain much for a couple of months. The grass will die, the garden will become a dust bowl, and we will be putting stamps on with paper clips. This afternoon it is supposed to stop briefly and we plan to go out to our daughters farm for a while. I might even do a little fishing, or hike around a bit -- if it doesn't rain.

Something like that happened to me last June. It rained for three weeks solid, without stopping for a second. Then, when it finally stopped, we were relieved. Not for long, though, because it did not rain a drop for two and a half months.
