People keep saying that, but stats don't bear it out. They flip and roll easily. That isn't good for you. A minor collision, a sharp curve, a flat tire, a mean gust of wind and you're upside-down. Bad for the noggin. If you're driving one, you can't see a CRX on your right. I know -- it happened to me. Fortunately, the little car had quick steering, a loud horn and plenty of power, so I missed him. I've driven three of those monsters. A Jimmy, a Ford Explorer, and a Toyota 4-Runner. Dud, dud, dud. Top heavy, cramped, thirsty, sluggish and all three whistled in the wind. I never felt safe, either. Sorry.

PS, In Tennessee, the word "sorry" has a slightly different meaning. ("Now see here, officer. If you're the one in charge of keeping all of these drivers below the speed limit, you're doing a sorry job.")
