Funny you should mention this now. I literally just finished answering email from someone who had asked me for hints to FQ -- not just hints, but specific answers to a whole list of questions like "How do I help the gnome?" (Previously I had given him my usual calibre of hint, which is usually helpful without giving answers outright.) He confided in me, saying he cheats regularly at other games, so why not this one, too?

It doesn't make any difference to me, except for the Hall of Fame -- it isn't fair to the people who thought hard and worked to get there if someone ended up there who was told exactly what to do. If it weren't for this competitive aspect of the site, I'd have posted a walk-through myself ages ago and left it up to the reader to choose between a hardcore gaming experience and going through the motions. Anyway, obviously I had to turn this guy's request down.
