I wander a world of black and blue. A madness fills my mind; I can naught but stumble blindly, Filled with hatred for the red man, who hacks and warps. He taunts me, leads me down blind alleys like a raging bull. Ever I draw nearer, yearning to unleash my power, Yet all is futility.
The red man runs, hides, cowers. He turns my obstacles into his blessings, Mocks my confusion, exploits my pattern, Flees from the fair fight.
In the back of my mind, behind the madness, I harbor a gnawing dread. For the red man, even in his flight, Grows and bolsters his defenses. One day, he will surpass me, and Confronting his nightmare, earn his freedom.
