When I answered the poll, I counted doors that open into rooms, rather than ALL doors. I included my two outer doors, and came up with a total of seven doors. However, I just realized that "doors" is not limited to rooms. If I add closet doors, the total jumps to 11. If I include the door on my desk where my computer tower is stored, that makes 12 doors. But what about cupboard doors in the kitchen? And the refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher and microwave doors? I'm going from memory here, but I think there are a total of 19 doors in the kitchen, coming to a grand total of 30 doors. Then I must add on the two cupboard doors on a "thingy" that hangs on the wall in the living room. But wait! My closet doors slide, and there are two of them. Do they count as one door or two? For that matter, the shower doors have the same situation, as does another closet. If they do count as separate doors, then I think I have a grand total of 36 doors in my two-bedroom apartment.
