Libby, I'm sorry you feel that way. No-one here is actually offended by what you have said, and many agree with several of the points you are making.

I think everyone here will at the very least stand up for your right to believe what you do, even if you have difficulty distinguishing between the serious posts and the humorous ones (and it can be difficult).

All I can say (and this is obviously IMHO) is that I enjoy eating meat. Given that, I do what I can to keep the cruelty factor as low as possible.

If that makes me evil in your eyes, that's an opprobrium I can bear. I hope that you can respect my opinion as much as I respect yours.
