A few weeks ago I went to see the Colorado Rockies play a baseball game in their beautiful stadium in downtown Denver. They lost. But that's not the point of my story.
I was standing in line at the conscession stand, minding my own business, when the guy in front of me orders. He walks up to the guy behind the counter and actually says, out loud, in front of other humans, "You got Coors Light?"
Now, if you don't get the absurdity of this, you probably don't know the name of the stadium we were standing in and you have obviously never been to a Rockies' home game.
The Rockies play in Coors Field. You can't walk more than 10 feet in that stadium without seeing a big ad for Coors. The ONLY thing they have on tap in the stadium is Coors and Coors Light. If you want Bud or Michelob, you have to get it in a lukewarm can from the vendor guy who walks around with his big-ass tray of lukewarm beers. I know this and I DONT EVEN DRINK.
Yet this guy actually went into COORS FIELD, walked past approximately four million Coors Brewing Company advertisements, went to the concession stand where only two tap heads were visible, one prominantly saying "Coors" and the other saying, just as prominantly, "Coors Light", and asked "You got any Coors Light?"
It only goes to show that some people are alive only because it is illegal to kill them.
