1. Matthew is not the one killing the animals. It is the farmers and meat workers and butchers who are killing the animals.

2. IT IS NOT MURDER.

murder (n.) the unlawful killing of a
person, esp. when done with deliberation or
premeditation or occurring during the
commission of a nother serious crime (first-
degree murder) or with intent but without
deliberation or premeditation (second-degree
murder).

A meat company killing animals for food is neither an unlawful killing nor the killing of a person. Calling omnivorism "murder" is an act of sensationalism designed to try to shock people into believing what they're doing is wrong and wicked, even if this may not be the case.

3. You do not "have to try and convince" people not to eat meat because you "don't feel its [sic] right" any more than I have to try to go out and convince every gay person I see that he needs to stop doing it simply because I don't believe it's OK.
