A new low in trash TV. The point of The Weakest Link is to watch a host be mean to people, whether they deserve it or not. (And despite what someone else here said, no, she does NOT reserve her ridicule only to mock wrong answers, and even if she did, is a wrong answer sound reason to lay into someone like they're the idiot scum of the earth?) The show's ratings are declining here, and I'm relieved. There is no place in a civilized human society for this kind of spectacle of debasement.

As far as comparisons with Survivor goes, no, doesn't work. Whether you like it or not, Survivor does not cater to the crude sadistic tendencies in cruel, insecure, and/or juvenile people.
