Ever tried tap? Dancing shoes are cheaper than a drum kit, or even a good-quality djembe. Go for it!

(This won't help with school assignments most of the time but) For general creative stuff, my salvation has been having a co-writer. My best friend and i complement each other perfectly, in that he gets incredible ideas and has tremendous motivation and i like to hack out details and make stuff professional-looking.

We've done some atrocious stuff (i.e., a Camelot play and two home movies), but our short story based on Alfred Noyes' "The Highwayman" is something i'm quite proud of. And this summer, it looks like we're going to begin writing SONGS! I am beyond pumped about that.

Isn't that what being an artist is all about?

Penny "So, in years to come, if you see any product with the name McShepherd on it, that'll be something Austin and i put out--OK, so maybe i'm just optimistic" stamp
