I got Goggled.

After all that talk of looking up your name on Google, I felt that I had to try it. My name seem to be Goggling all over the net. At one time, I believed that Murrill was a relatively rare spelling, but now I know that isn't the case. However, most of the Murrills I found were related or at least a suspect. I even found a picture of Great Uncle Will's grave. That was not surprising, because Uncle Will was rather famous in botanical circles. He worked at the New York Botanical Gardens and later was a professor at the University of Florida. He was listed in Who's Who as the world's foremost authority on mushrooms, and had something to do with the indentification of the organism that causes chesnut blight.
I also found a cousin who works at JPL, and my uncle who was a doctor. He died in 1950, but there he was on the internet in the 21st century.
My grandfather, who shares my name, popped up in a number of places, and his father showed up in some Civil War records.
I, personally, was on Google a number of times but not for anything noteworthy. I think the first two mentions of the name that came up were Rinkwork posts, mainly concerning my grandfather.
I had to give up and back out before I got through the whole list, but sometime soon I'm going back and look some more.
How"still looking for my 15 minutes"ard
