> I don't know if ya'll heard or not, but Douglas Adams died Friday of a heart attack at age 49. He was the man responsible for "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and other sci-fo/humor greats. I couldn't believe it when I first read it...I just picked the book up a week or so again to re-read it for the 50th time. Life is weird lke that sometimes.

Yes, I had just heard the news, I was just in the middle of rereading the Hitchhikers trilogy (I'm up to the fourth book), so he was a person very active in my imagination at the present.

It was an incredible shock to hear of him dying so young. He was a genius.
