(No need to worry about such an appearance, since by no means are you an idiot. :-) People in a typical, normal flow of spoken conversation in real life engage in this kind of give and take: many statements are made, and questions are asked, and opinions are given and received. A person only becomes an EEDIOT should he persist in defending a position which is against all logic and reason.)

(Of course, even with the best of intentions it is still possible to do/say something else that is particularly egregarious, such that you DO look like a complete boọb. Well... it happens. In that case, all we can do is affirm you in your humanity and in the recognition that we all make mistakes. But I can't really help you with any feelings you might have of Total Embarrassment Nuclear Meltdown. You'll just have to forgive yourself there. :-)

(P.S. Just taking the opportunity to ponder the issue more soberly than Grishny had intended. Consider it as me taking the thought and running with it. Better not lend me any scissors.)
