In my english class (I have an A in I may add) we have to write a three page persuasive essay on anything we want.
The rough draft was due today, and my teacher said we had to get a peer to edit it. So the kid behind me and I exchanged papers. At first glance, the paper looked rather well. It was three pages long and was neatly written. It was obvious he took time on "Why dogs are better pets than cats."
So I began to read it. It was the most stupid thing I have ever read. One line was "All cats do is sleep. When they wake up, the eat, want petted, and go backed to sleep." I told him about the sentince and he said "Oh whoops" Instead of writting "When they wake up, they want to eat, get pet, then fall back to sleep" He put "They want to eat food, want petted, and go backed to sleep" Apparently, putting the word food solved all of his problems.
Another sentice was "I think that cats make a more worse pet because humans don't have to pick up after themselves" Yeah buddy.....I guess cats do make the better pet.
