If there are six billion selfish boors and nose-thumbers, it would seem to me the best way to get back at them all is to stay alive in spite of them all. Dying just concedes the match.

Fortunately, although there are many selfish boors and nose-thumbers, there aren't quite six billion of them. Maybe one or two billion. There are also billions of people who give a crap about you. I am one. A great many others are right here on this web site. You know that, or you wouldn't have posted here. Another one is the One that fashioned you from birth. God loves you and cares about every part of your life, including this one.

Whatever you're going through, don't let yourself go through it alone. There are lots of people around to help. There are people here who are excellent listeners, and there are bound to be professional and confidential counseling services somewhere in your area.

You'll pull through this, whatever it is. Where people can hurt, people can help. Time heals all wounds, and God can turn them into blessings.
