RULING!!!

I went on a cruise in 1999 (combination celebrating my high school gradulation, my sister's jr. high graduation, and my parents' 25 anniversary), and it was... incredible. The coolest vacation ever.

We cruised from Vancouver, Canada, to Seward, Alaska, up the Inside Passage. Our line was Holland-America, strangely appropriate because that's the story of my life, practically... living in Holland and America. :) The food was fantastical, we had a nice room, and the beauty we could see... oh, it was absolutely incredible to be standing out on the deck, about 400 feet from an active glacier at LEAST as tall as the ship (and the ship is about the size of a 10 story building). We could feel the chill in the air from it, and every so often it would rumble, like thunder... and it was just so amazing. Yeah, the food was luxurious, we got pampered within an inch of our lives, but the most stunning thing of all was the beauty of nature that we got to see.
