Heh. I remember my reaction when that movie first came out. "WHAT? The Hunchback of Notre Dame? As a DISNEY FILM? What??? Huh????"

After I saw the advertising and previews, and realised, "Oh, right. They changed everything and just kind of loosely based it on the general setting", I managed to get my mind to accept the concept to some extent.

I'd be interested to see the reaction of any kiddies who saw the Disney version *first* and *then* tried reading the original novel to see what it was like.
