Scotland is one of the finest places in the world. You'll already be there as I write this but I just want any visitors to this green and sceptre'd isle to know that there isn't anywhere better to be, IHMO.

As to internet access, if you're in a town or city, you should be fine, but acorss lots of Scotland you're likely to need a satellite modem or something equally clever. There's a lot of unspoilt wilderness up there without even a mobile phone mast.

The recent meat crisises (Is that spelt right?) haven't deterred anyone here from eating beef (least of all me), and Beasty's right - Highland beef is unbeatable. Enjoy your stay.
