Yeah, you're right. I myself find red-on-black easier to read than black-on-white (on computers, that is), but I'm part of a very small minority. My website is mostly for me to learn through doing. Right now, I am changing everything (again). The new version will be black-on white. I'm also going to tone down on the "look what I can do with my 3-D program!"-type graphics. 3-D programs are very tempting, and can lead a website to ruin :).
