Too bad, MM, although I'm glad you don't feel bad. Losing a job can be anything from enjoyable to horrifyingly traumatic, depending on how it is handled.

I do agree that these things happen for a reason. You now have much more freedom to pursue a new and exciting direction, or to take advantage of some fantastic opportunity that you might have had to knock back.
