I'm posting this in the heat of the moment after seeing a Judge George commecial where the defendant was accused of having a second-rate glass maker make his glass. Read: no budget. I really think those sort of people should be taken out in the street and be run over by a horde of rabid chipmunks.

The only commercial that ever made me want to buy something was a Reebok ad after the last Superbowl. I have seen it replayed other times in shortened, stupidified manner, but the original was about a minute long, and just awesome. The purpose of the ad was, of course, a complete mystery until the end when the word "Reebok" came on screen--Dave Barry says it is a serious breach of ethics to reveal what product is being advertised--but the footage was still exceptionally cool. All I can remember at the moment is a guy on a tennis court running for the ball, doing a flip, and kicking the tennis ball back over the net. There was all sorts of crazy stuff like that.

No, I didn't suddenly want to buy Reeboks to be cool/insane like the people on TV, but to reward the company for such an awesome commercial.
