The Transit Strike in Calgary has ended! Yesterday, the union voted 92% in favor of accepting one of the city's offers. I have heard some rumors about why everything wrapped up so quickly, but won't post them here because for now, they are simply rumors.

The strike lasted 49 days, and was the longest strike in Calgary's history. Holiday service will begin tomorrow, and regular service begins again on Saturday. On Monday, I should be riding the bus to work again... And possibly seeing REALLY Cute Girl for the first time in over a month and a half. But, of course, my interest in her is purely platonic now. ;-)
