hmm...I guess it's really just like what everyone else said, you've got to keep trying stuff to figure out your little spot...I suppose it also has to do with the "writing a story on the computer is inherently wrong!" idea. You aren't just finding out what it is you do best, but how. You mentioned writing: well, have you tried different methods of writing? Have you thought up the plot first and outlined it? Just sat down and wrote what came to mind? Figured out the ending first and worked backwards? Or maybe you feel restricted because everytime you started a story or poem or what-have-you, you reread and it was a piece of, well, you know. Don't get discouraged by that, because everything takes practice. I mean, how do you think good musicians got to be so wonderful? They just picked up the instrument and, poof, it sounded great? (yeah, I wish...) (hey, I corrected the band teacher on a fingering the other day...it was great!)
